The function of the electronic drain valve is to remove the condensate from the air compressor, cooler, gas/water separator, freezer dryer and air filter in a timely (timed) manner. The 115VAC version of the drain comes with a 6-foot power cord with a plug, while the 230VAC version comes with a 7-foot power cord.
