The
1771-HS3A
IMC
120
Servo
Controller
Module
by
AB
is
a
3-axis
servo
controller
module
specially
designed
for
use
with
the
1771
I/O
chassis
series
and
it
consists
of
a
memory
module,
a
power
module,
an
encoder
module,
a
resolver,
and
an
optional
Hand-Held
pendant.
The
module
has
similar
specifications
to
most
IMC
120
servo
controllers
with
an
additional
3-axis
capability.
The
1771-HS3A
uses
a
power
supply
module
(1771-PS7)
which
supplies
120-240V
AC
at
1A
and
2A,
using
the
9-pin
connected
cable
(1771-CAS)
connected
the
controller’s
power
connector
and
it
uses
the
1771-HMA
96
KB
battery-backed
memory
cartridges
which
store
the
servo
controller’s
AMP
parameters
and
MML
downloaded
programs.
The
1771-HS3A
uses
the
RS-232
connector
to
connect
to
the
connector
of
the
T45
and
T50
ODS
and
by
using
an
optional
Hand-Held
pendant
through
the
ODS
users
can
modify
the
system’s
variable
and
parameter
values.
It
comes
with
LED
light
indicators
which
indicate
the
1771-HS3A’s
various
status.
The
1771-HS3A
uses
a
resolver
feedback
and
with
a
resolver
excitation
module,
it
can
produce
Sine
and
Cosine
signals
which
excite
and
activate
the
stator
of
the
resolver.
It
uses
an
encoder
feedback
which
provides
10V
DC
isolated
outputs,
and
a
250
KHz
and
20
KHz
differential
and
single-ended
inputs.
Its
operational
temperature
ranges
between
0
and
600C
at
an
ambient
relative
humidity
range
of
5-95%
without
condensation
and
it
is
c-UL,
C-TICK,
