      Diamond tools have the characteristics of high hardness, high compressive strength, good thermal conductivity and wear resistance, and can obtain high machining accuracy and machining efficiency in high-speed cutting. The above properties of diamond tools are determined by the crystal state of the diamond. In diamond crystals, the four valence electrons of carbon atoms form bonds in a tetrahedral structure, and each carbon atom forms covalent bonds with four adjacent atoms to form a diamond structure, which has strong binding force and directionality. This makes the diamond extremely hard. Since the structure of polycrystalline diamond (PCD) is a fine-grained diamond sintered body with different orientations, its hardness and wear resistance are still lower than those of single crystal diamond despite the addition of a binder. However, since the PCD sintered body is isotropic, it is not easy to crack along a single cleavage plane.
Diamond "PCD" is specialized in the finishing of copper, aluminum alloy, cemented carbide, graphite, ceramics and high-hard wear-resistant materials. It has the characteristics of long service life, high production efficiency, high surface finish and high machining accuracy. Compared with cemented carbide and natural diamond tools, it has higher processing efficiency and lower cost, and is widely used in automobiles, diesel engines, motorcycles, aerospace, home appliances, instrument precision machinery and other industries.
